We are seeking a highly skilled Pre-Sales Specialist to support our Document Solutions and Large Format Printing business.
About the Role
This role will act as the Pre-Sales representative for our Melbourne location, supporting our Victorian sales operations.
Key Responsibilities
1. Collaborate with sales and service teams to understand client requirements and develop tailored print solutions.
2. Design and implement integrated print environments, including third-party software solutions like PaperCut and Printix.
3. Provide technical pre-sales support, including product demonstrations and customer workshops.
4. Assist with installations remotely or on-site at customer locations.
5. Configure, test, and troubleshoot print solutions in diverse IT environments.
6. Lead technical presentations and workshops to demonstrate solutions.
7. Act as the technical point of contact for internal teams and clients.
8. Maintain relationships with third-party vendors for current products and integrations.
9. Work with project management teams for smooth implementation and handover.
Required Skills & Experience
* Expertise in printer hardware, especially A3 MFDs and Large Format printers.
* Experience with print management software like PaperCut and Printix.
* Knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, VPN, firewalls, wireless printing).
* Experience integrating print hardware with enterprise IT systems.
* Ability to troubleshoot network and print issues.
* Proven ability to integrate print solutions with third-party software platforms.
* Knowledge of print security protocols and data protection.
* Ability to translate customer requirements into technical solutions.
* Strong collaboration skills and project management abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
* Certifications in IT networking or print vendor certifications (e.g., PaperCut Certified).
* Experience with cloud printing solutions and SaaS platforms.
* Networking certification or diploma in computing & networks.
* Familiarity with Windows Server, Linux, and MacOS environments.
