At Spuds Marquee Hire, we don't just set up structures, we create the foundations for unforgettable moments. From weddings under the stars to major festivals, our marquees set the stage for some of Western Australia's best events.
We're part of a growing family of companies (including Perth Bouncy Castle Hire) that bring fun, creativity, and precision to every setup. We're now looking for hands-on Event Crew Members, people who thrive outdoors, work hard as a team, and take pride in doing things properly.
The Role
You'll work as part of a close-knit crew setting up and packing down marquees, structures, and event equipment across Perth and regional WA. No two days are the same — one week you might be building a wedding setup in the Swan Valley, the next you're helping deliver large-scale festival infrastructure at Optus Stadium or regional events.
What you'll be doing:
* Assisting with setup and pack-down of marquees and event structures
* Loading and unloading trucks with tools, materials, and event gear
* Working safely and efficiently on event sites
* Supporting the Crew Leader to ensure jobs are completed to high standards
* Occasionally helping our sister company Perth Bouncy Castle Hire with event rides and inflatables
What We're Looking For
Must-haves:
* Strong work ethic and reliability
* Comfortable with physical outdoor work
* Current driver's licence
* Available Monday–Friday, with regular weekend work during peak event season
Nice-to-haves:
* Proven experience in marquee, scaffolding, construction, or event setup work
* White Card, forklift ticket, or rigging/scaffolding experience
* Experience in events, festivals, or temporary structures
* Passion for problem-solving and making things happen
