In House Solicitor: National Commercial Law Firm
HarperLloyd Recruitment is partnering with a leading national commercial law firm to appoint a Risk & Compliance Analyst to support their practice across Sydney, Melbourne or Brisbane.

You'll work closely with senior leadership and legal teams, ensuring the firm meets its regulatory, professional and ethical obligations while supporting efficient, compliant client service.
Your Day Will Involve
Conducting risk assessments and compliance reviews across multiple practice areas
Supporting the implementation and monitoring of firm-wide risk and compliance frameworks
Maintaining accurate records of risk assessments, compliance checks and resolutions
Reviewing new matters and onboarding requests to assess and manage conflicts of interest
Escalating complex conflicts and advising senior stakeholders on risk scenarios
Coordinating internal training on conflicts and compliance principles
Assisting with AML/CTF compliance, including monitoring transactions and escalating suspicious activity
Supporting the maintenance and implementation of AML/CTF programs, policies and internal systems
Preparing compliance reports for senior management and regulatory bodies
Maintaining registers and records required for compliance and risk management
Who You'll Be Working With
You'll collaborate with a highly experienced Risk & Compliance Manager, Partners, Practice Group Leaders, and the AML Compliance Officer.

Who Will Fit This Opportunity
We're looking for someone who thrives in a detail-oriented, analytical and relationship-focused role:
Experience in a risk or compliance function (professional services or legal preferred)
Strong analytical skills and exceptional attention to detail
Working knowledge of AML/CTF processes (desirable but not essential)
Ability to interpret policy and apply it confidently to real-life scenarios
Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
Ability to work autonomously and manage competing deadlines
Experience with Elite 3E, SAP, Oracle, Dynamics 365 or similar ERP systems (desirable)
Intermediate to advanced MS Office skills
A commitment to contributing positively to the firm's culture and strategic goals
