About the role

At RSM Australia, we are looking for an experienced Bookkeeper to join our expanding Karratha office.
You'll be part of a close-knit team of professionals, growing in line with RSM's national strategy and ongoing commitment to regional excellence.

What you'll do
Assist with the preparation of financial statements in accordance with accounting standards
Support the preparation of BAS, IAS, Payroll Tax, and other compliance obligations
Reconcile bank accounts, accounts receivable, and accounts payable
Respond to bookkeeping queries and liaise with clients to resolve issues
Assist with managing client relationships and ongoing communications
Apply your knowledge of current accounting practices and industry trends
Identify and suggest process improvements to enhance service delivery
What you'll bring
3+ years of relevant experience in a similar role
Qualifications in bookkeeping or accounting
Proficiency in Xero and MYOB AccountRight
Payroll processing experience
Solid understanding of accounting principles (Dr/Cr, P&L, Balance Sheet)
Working knowledge of GST
Strong organisational and time management skills
Excellent client service and communication abilities
A self-motivated, independent approach
