Senior Leasing Business Analyst

Role Purpose:
The Senior Leasing Business Analyst is responsible for driving strategic leasing initiatives by analysing market trends, financial data, and tenant requirements. This role involves developing comprehensive leasing strategies, optimizing portfolio performance, and providing actionable insights to support decision-making.
Key Accountabilities:
* People Leadership
o All elements of the annual performance cycle are completed by the due date (including goal setting, mid-year reviews, EOY conversations).
o Regular 1:1's, team meetings and development conversations conducted - minimum monthly cadence.
o Performance issues are managed in an effective and timely manner.
o Quarterly development conversations conducted with all team members.
o 100% of compliance training is completed on time for team.
o All health and safety, risk and compliance requirements are delivered across the team.
o Effective management of budgets as per forecast with demonstrated focus on managing cost.
o Demonstrated commitment to building own capability as a people leader.
* Strategic Planning and Decision Support
o Collaborate with leasing managers to develop and implement financial strategies.
o Provide financial analysis and insights to support strategic decision-making.
* Performance Monitoring
o Monitor and report on key financial metrics and performance indicators.
o Monitoring financial targets and working with the Leasing team to identify areas for improvement.
* Budgeting and Forecasting
o Lead the budgeting process for the leasing team, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.
o Prepare and update financial forecasts based on market trends and business developments.
o Support the leasing team in setting realistic financial targets.
* Cost Management
o Monitor resourcing requirements against leasing department workloads to assist the leasing team manage costs.
* Risk Mitigation
o Play a crucial role in identifying and managing financial risks (market movements and specific retailer risk).
o Assess potential retailer risks, modelling options to limit financial loss.
o Ensure compliance with company policies.
* Collaboration & Communication
o Act as a liaison between the finance department and leasing team.
o Communicate complex financial information in an understandable manner.
o Build strong relationships with key stakeholders to facilitate effective collaboration.
Experience & Capabilities:

o Proven experience in a finance business partnering role, preferably within the leasing.
