As a GIS Analyst, you'll be working on exciting projects in Defence, renewable energy, environment, transport and infrastructure. You will provide technical Spatial Science and Location Intelligence (LI) services and technical advise to support the LI team and broader GHD business, so that it meets, or exceeds its objectives in terms of financial performance, strategic development, risk management and having regard to GHD's core values.
Your key duties will include:
* Develop and deliver location intelligence products and services, including following compliance quality assurance standards.
* With support from the LI Team Lead proactively engage with our clients to identify insights and opportunities to contribute to the team's pipeline targets and ongoing future business development.
* Working proactively with the LI Team and Regional Lead to support GHD's business goals and KPI's.
* Actively contribute to growth and successful performance of LI capabilities which include, workflow design and automation, solution implementation, and administration of spatial databases and web mapping environments.
* Lead proposal preparation including input collating, writing and
technical documentation.
Qualifications, Skills or Experience:
* Highly developed communication skills, both oral and written, open communication
* Experience in ESRI, FME, QGIS, and other GIS tools
* With working knowledge in technical project management, bids and proposal preparation
* Client engagement and relationship management
* Have, or have ability to obtain Australian defence force baseline clearance
* Working knowledge in Python, Power BI and/or Remote Sensing (Commercial/Industry Project Experience) would be an advantage
* Previous experience working in a consulting industry is highly regarded
