Transition Lead / Transformation Lead 12 months initial contract; with possible extension Adelaide Based Role The purpose of the Transformation Lead role is to drive through a complex operational transition and act as the key liaison between the central transformation program and the BAU operations team.
You will be responsible for planning and executing the implementation of a new, strategic operating model for one of our key business functions.
The Lead will focus on ensuring the readiness for change, meeting strict stage gate criteria at every phase.
Your primary mandate is to manage a seamless transition, ensuring that operational integrity and service levels are maintained and enhanced throughout the process.
The Transformation Lead will be a champion for the change initiative, working closely with all stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery and adoption of new processes and models.
Knowledge Skills Experience of leading complex operational transitions / transformations in a regulated industry.
Proven ability to manage a complex, long-term project plan, track milestones, and manage dependencies.
Significant experience of the Australian financial industry and understanding of typical back-office and service delivery processes and ways of working.
The ability to identify, assess, and document risks and controls within a business process .
The ability to analyse current-state end to end processes and collaborate on the design of efficient future-state workflows.
Expertise in ensuring new controls are well-designed, effective, and can withstand audit scrutiny.
Skill in holding an external partner accountable and ensuring delivery on time and with agreed quality.
The ability to guide teams through change, build buy-in for new processes, and overcome resistance to change.
The tenacity to navigate setbacks, adapt to changing priorities, and maintain momentum on long-term initiatives.
Influence a diverse group of stakeholders with competing priorities, from senior leaders to technical experts.
Crafting and delivering impactful presentations and written communications that articulate a clear narrative and call to action, incl the skill to articulate the "why" and "how" of the transition to different stakeholder groups to build trust and minimise resistance.
The ability to find creative ways to solve problems and get things done, even with limited resources.
