As a Security Facility Administrator, you will have the opportunity to expand your knowledge and skillset to include Defence security practices while supporting our Global Security Activity team. You will be expected to learn, develop, and contribute outside of your core duties to align with the collaborative team environment that ensures the Global Security Activity team remains efficient and effective in the operation of our physical workplace as well as the delivery of high-quality services and results to our customers and stakeholders.
Our Global Security Activity (GSA) Team is dedicated to delivering the most trustworthy and efficient Protective Security service. In this role, you will be a personable achiever who represents the face of our GSA team.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage general administrative tasks and project drives, files, and calendars
* Assist with report preparation, team communications, and monitoring
* Assist with facilities management-related activities including initiation of purchase requisitions
* Perform access control and monitoring to company property including development of policies and procedures
* Verify identification to maintain export control compliance
* High level of attention to detail when dealing with repetitive datasets to verify correct and true information across a multitude of programs and platforms
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Relevant office or project administration experience
* Customer service experience or experience in a customer-based position
* Understanding of a defence or secure environment
* Competent and familiar with Microsoft Office Suite, most notably Excel
* Highly organized, task-orientated, self-starter that demonstrates a high degree of initiative and requires minimal supervision and enjoys interacting with various parts of the business
* Ability to be on-call as required by business needs and to travel periodically as planned or unplanned
* Applicants must be Australian Citizens to meet Defence security requirements. This role requires the successful applicant to obtain an Australian Government Negative Vetting level 1 Security Clearance
