Excavator Operator Job Description

* Operate excavators for civil construction or waste-related work.
* Conduct pre-start checks and report maintenance needs.
* Assist with site clean-up and material movement.
* Work safely and efficiently within a busy yard or construction site.
* Support team members as needed.
* Morning and afternoon shifts available.
Key Responsibilities:
Essential Duties
* Operate heavy equipment such as excavators, front-end loaders, and other machinery.
* Perform daily safety inspections on equipment.
* Report any issues or concerns related to equipment or site conditions.
Desirable Skills
* Current Excavator license with demonstrated experience.
* Front loader experience desired.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced, safety-conscious environment.
* Strong attention to detail and care for machinery.
* Positive attitude and team-oriented approach.
* Reliable transport and full Australian working rights.
