About the Role
We are seeking multiple Orderly/Cleaners to join our dedicated Environmental Services team.
These casual positions are available for an immediate start and include working a 7-day, rotating roster that would include evenings and weekends.
This position involves cleaning and housekeeping, transport and couriering, ward support and patient support, waste management, and all aspects of cleaning throughout the Horsham Campus.
Key Responsibilities
Perform daily duties as per the area task description and adhere to BHS policies and standards.
Provide patient-focused care with timely, quality service, including assistance with plaster changes and crutch fittings.
Facilitate patient transfers and transport of samples between departments and wards.
Contribute to BHS's quality improvement processes and adhere to infection control policies.
Maintain confidentiality regarding BHS, its patients, staff, and business operations.
Promote diversity, inclusivity, and patient-centered care in all interactions, upholding BHS's core values.
Skills & Experience
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a commitment to customer service and patient-centered care.
Knowledge of cleanliness standards and infection control practices.
Ability to work effectively within a multi-disciplinary team.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and complete tasks on time.
Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
Cleaning experience, basic computer skills, and a current driver's license.
