About your new role:
Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will be a pivotal part of the team. This is a broad role giving you exposure to both Financial and Management Accounting duties. You will be required to wear many hats by supporting parts of the business with end-to-end Accounting functions. Your core duties will include:
• Lead month-end close activities, including journal preparation, account reconciliations, and variance analysis to ensure accurate financial outcomes.
• Ensure the accuracy and integrity of the general ledger, delivering timely and insightful monthly financial reports for Executive and Board-level review.
• Develop cash flow forecasts and support the proactive management of liquidity across the business.
• Prepare and lodge BAS, FBT returns, and other tax-related schedules in accordance with relevant deadlines.
• Contribute to group-level activities such as budgeting, forecasting, and external audits.
• Analyse financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities, providing valuable insights to stakeholders.
• Foster strong, collaborative relationships with both internal and external stakeholders to support business objectives.
• Drive continuous improvement by identifying and implementing more efficient processes and financial practices
About you:
• CPA/CA qualified or equivalent, including overseas qualification
• 3-5 yrs Accouinting experience ideally in a medium to large organisation
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to partner with both finance and operations
• Strong technical skills including advanced excel and large ERP system experience
• You are curious, agile and looking to progress your career in a dynamic and supportive environment
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
