Head of Educational Leadership
A compassionate and dedicated educational leader is required to build a new team and shape the educational experience for students in a nurturing and inclusive community. The school offers safe and supportive environments for pupils with complex needs.
This exceptional individual will lead our school, which has a proposed capacity of up to 78 pupils and caters to students from 5 to 18 years old. They will have a passion for supporting students with special educational needs (SEN) and a deep understanding of their unique requirements.
About You:
* You will be a forward-thinking leader with proven leadership skills, including the ability to inspire and motivate others.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities are essential for this role.
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with Primary/Secondary teaching experience is required.
* Suitable first degree and/or NPQH are also desirable.
The successful candidate will champion a nurturing pastoral approach, emphasizing emotional well-being, mental health, and social development. They will advocate for the rights and needs of our SEN students, aligned with EHCP objectives, within the wider educational community.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Educational Leadership: Develop and implement a vision that aligns with our ethos of compassion, inclusion, and personalized learning.
2. Safeguarding: Act as the Designated Safeguarding Lead and manage all concerns appropriately.
3. Curriculum Enhancement: Adapt and tailor the curriculum to meet the diverse needs of our students.
4. Pastoral Care and SEN Advocacy: Champion a nurturing pastoral approach and advocate for the rights and needs of our SEN students.
5. Staff Development: Support and mentor staff, promoting continuous professional growth and fostering a collaborative team spirit.
