**About the role**
Our client is seeking an experienced and motivated Law Clerk/Administration Assistant to join our well-established law firm located in Broadmeadows on a permanent full-time basis. You will support the legal team on a range of interesting and diverse family law matters including property, divorce, children, financial matters, as well as property law, criminal law, wills and estates.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Filling and scanning
- diary management,
- preparation of correspondence/documents
- liaising with clients,
- attending to client enquiries
- providing day-to-day support to our lawyers
- open and close files
- type correspondence and legal documents
- answer telephones, schedule meeting and appointments
- general receptionist and administrative duties.
**Skills and Experience**
- Preferably at least 3 years' of secretarial / administrative experience in a legal environment;
- An understanding of court processes and systems;
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
- Ability to multitask, prioritise and work under pressure;
- Ability to manage clients with courtesy, respect and efficiency at all times;
- Attending to final letters and closing files
- Ability to work in a professional and discrete manner and maintain high level of confidentiality.
