Job Title:
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Electrical Estimator to join our team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate and detailed estimates for electrical projects, focusing on large-scale industrial, renewable energy, high-voltage, and infrastructure projects.
* Lead the preparation of precise and comprehensive cost estimates for electrical projects, encompassing materials, labor, equipment, and subcontractor costs
* Analyze project drawings, specifications, and technical documents to determine scope and requirements
* Communicate effectively with clients, consultants, and internal teams to clarify project scope and align with client objectives
* Obtain and evaluate supplier and subcontractor quotes to ensure they meet project specifications and cost targets
* Develop in-depth project methodologies to reinforce bid strategies
* Prepare technical and commercial departures to accompany bids
* Review agreements/contracts, escalating to Commercial when necessary
* Conduct risk assessments and recommend cost-effective risk mitigation strategies
* Maintain and update detailed cost breakdowns, ensuring alignment with objectives
* Oversee the project handover process to the delivery team
* Provide technical input and cost advice during contract negotiation and award phases
