Program Manager Homelessness
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced leader to lead the new Central Intake Service, a Territory-wide initiative designed to improve access to support for people experiencing or at risk of homelessness.
About Us:
Lutheran Care is a not-for-profit organisation providing support to people who need it most in the Northern Territory and South Australia. We deliver Financial Wellbeing services across Central Australia.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and inspire a team to deliver high-quality services for people experiencing homelessness.
* Support Team Leaders and Pathway Workers when they need help resolving complex client issues.
* Build and maintain strong partnerships with Aboriginal Community Controlled Organisations, service providers, and other key stakeholders across the Northern Territory.
* Strengthen systems, tools, and processes so services are consistent, high quality, and accessible for those who need them.
* Facilitate reflective practice and learning sessions that encourage continuous improvement and professional growth.
* Promote and represent the Central Intake Service and our values across the Northern Territory.
Requirements:
* Experience in the homelessness sector and understanding of the challenges faced by people at risk of homelessness.
* Ability to lead, motivate, and support teams to deliver high-quality services.
* Experience managing change and delivering complex projects.
* Commitment to listening to client feedback and improving services.
* Strong awareness of the issues impacting NT communities, including the effects of colonisation and intergenerational disadvantage.
