Empire Bay Dental Practice – part of the Smile On Clinics group – is seeking an enthusiastic Full-Time Dental Receptionist to join our friendly, community-focused practice.
This role will primarily be reception-based, however Dental Assistant experience is highly desirable, as you may occasionally be required to support in surgery when needed.

The Role
We are recruiting a Full-Time Dental Receptionist who will be the welcoming face of our practice.
Your role will include:
Reception & Administration
Greeting patients with warmth, professionalism and care
Managing bookings, recalls, and daily appointment flow
Handling patient enquiries via phone, email and in-person
Processing payments, accounts, and health fund claims
Maintaining accurate patient records and confidentiality
Optional / Occasional Dental Assisting
(For candidates with DA experience)
Assisting clinicians chairside as required
Setting up and packing down treatment rooms
About You
Experience in reception or customer service (dental or medical highly regarded)
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong organisational skills and ability to multitask
High standard of professionalism, confidentiality and attention to detail
A team-focused mindset with a positive, proactive attitude
Highly Regarded
Dental Assisting experience and willingness to step into surgery when required
Experience using dental software and appointment systems
