The Role
We're currently seeking experienced Mobile Plant Mechanics to join our team at our Naval Base workshop. In this role, you'll be responsible for the maintenance and repair of a wide range of Caterpillar and Komatsu mobile equipment.

Key Responsibilities
* Diagnose, service, and repair Caterpillar and Komatsu equipment
* Conduct on‑hire and off‑hire inspections of mobile plant and equipment
* Interpret hydraulic and electrical schematics
* Create parts lists using technical manuals
* Perform risk assessments and implement safety controls
* Maintain compliance with HSE policies and procedures
* Keep work areas clean and well‑organised
What We're Looking For
* Australian Trade Qualification – HD/Plant Mechanic
* Proven experience with Caterpillar mobile plant maintenance
* Proficiency with CAT ET and SIS systems
* Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to work unsupervised
* High Risk Work Licences (LF, WP, CN, DG) – highly regarded
* Ability to pass a pre‑employment medical and drug & alcohol screen
