About the role:
The Technology Architecture & Solutions Team is currently seeking an ERP Architect to join them on a Monday-Friday Roster based at Perth. Reporting to the Manager IM&T Architecture & Solution Design, you will be responsible for providing architecture leadership and governance to enable the effective planning, implementation, and continued value realisation of Hancock Iron Ore's ERP platform (SAP S/4 HANA).
This role leverages SAP expertise to guide solution design and works collaboratively with technology teams and business units to develop and maintain a strategic ERP roadmap. The Architect ERP ensures all changes and enhancements are aligned with organisational objectives, architectural principles, and ERP standards.
Duties:
* Provide ERP architectural leadership and oversight of solution selection, design and governance quality across the ERP landscape, business functional groups and solution delivery teams
* Define and maintain ERP technical and application architectures, develop detailed designs and contribute to testing and embedding of ERP solutions
* Ensure that proposed and existing systems architectures are aligned with organisation goals and objectives, including endorsed Technology Plans and Roadmaps
* Conduct research on emerging technology and recommend technologies that will increase cost-effectiveness or increase system value
* Proactively engage key decision makers and systems owners to define business and operations architecture requirements, goals and identify and resolve related architectural issues
* Engage with key stakeholders and end users, to provide direction and assistance and ensure all architecture standards and strategies are applied and well communicated
Skills and Experience:
* Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Management, Information Technology or Engineering, or equivalent
* Experience as an ERP solution architect for large scale enterprise
* Proven experience in the design and operation of the SAP S/4 HANA ERP Platform within the mining or resources sector
* Proficiency in SAP ECC configuration
* In-depth knowledge of SAP integration concepts with S/4 HANA, such as BTP, BAPIs/IDocs, CDS Views etc.
