Disability Support Worker
Location: Gold Coast

Duties
* Supporting individuals to reach their goals within their chosen community.
* Working within an adaptable roster.
* Supporting Clients within their private residence, to achieve independence in all daily activities including home duties and personal care.
* Reporting to the Client Coordinator as required and working within a team towards continuous improvement.
Qualifications
* Current National Police Check / Yellow Card / Blue Card.
* If you have been a citizen in another country after the age of 16 you will also need to have a statutory declaration as per the "Police Certificate Guidelines for Aged Care Providers".
* Certificate III or IV in Aged Care or Certificate III in Home and Community Care or Certificate III in Disability.
* Current First Aid and CPR certificate.
* Current Driver's License with fully registered and insured vehicle.
* Current Medication Competency (highly desirable).
* Community Care experience.
* Empathy for and desire to work.
* Valuable verbal and written communication skills.

Pay: $31.00 - $35.00 per hour
