THE POSITION
* Assist the Head Chef with stock control, budgets, rostering, staff mentoring and training by supervising, and
* Monitor and oversee the food production and menu-based catering on site
* Ensure accurate implementation of allergy awareness controls, and maintain a high standard of food hygiene, safety and cleanliness
* Using first class produce, ensure all catering controls are in place, and wastage is kept to a minimum
* Deliver to our client and customers high expectations of a premium experience
THE PERSON
* Minimum certificate III in Commercial Cookery
* Leadership abilities and enjoys creating a positive work culture
* Strong knowledge of cooking techniques, ingredients, and flavours
* Available to work a range of hours including weekends and public holidays
* Knowledge of Food Safety & HACCP regulations
* Driven with a creative flair and a passion for culinary innovation
