The Role:
As an Inclusion Support Educator, you will:
* Deliver activities, on a weekly basis, to school age children, creating an atmosphere of fun and ensuring children are safe, engaged and well-supervised.
* Ensure the materials for the activities are prepared, interact with the children and join in on their experiences.
* Provide a remarkable service to support families and children in Before School and After School Care Programs.
* Report to the Coordinator at the program and work alongside other Educators or 2ICs.
Possible permanent shifts :
Monday to Friday
After School hours: 3.00pm to 5.30pm
In addition to the hourly rate, a split shift allowance will apply : $19.72 per day where a split shift is worked and a laundry allowance of $1.20 per day worked.
This is a fixed term contract until June 2026.
Responsibilities:
* Maintain a child-safe environment.
* Assist children with routine tasks.
* Communicate effectively with staff, families, and children.
* Perform some administrative tasks.
* Other duties as required.
Skills and Experience:
* Cert III or higher qualification in relevant fields (e.g., Outside School Hours Care, community services, allied health, early childhood, social work).
* Valid Working with Children Check (to be completed before starting).
* Current child protection training and knowledge of child safe standards.
* Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
About You:
* Passionate about working with children and pursuing growth in the Education sector.
* Qualified or currently undertaking a relevant qualification.
* Experience in OSHC, school teaching, school camp programs, sporting programs, or childcare.
* Personable, enthusiastic, driven, and ambitious.
* Well-organized with strong administrative and supervisory skills.
* Ability to deliver a safe, caring, and engaging program for primary-aged boys and girls, motivating them to have fun.
