About the role
This is a dynamic, client-facing role focused on building strong relationships, generating new business, and supporting customers with technical product solutions. You will work closely with clients across mining and industrial sectors, providing advice, preparing proposals, and helping deliver tailored solutions that meet operational needs. The role includes a mix of office-based work, site visits, and travel (approx. ~12 weeks per year).
Key responsibilities
* Identify and develop new business opportunities
* Build and maintain strong client relationships
* Prepare quotations, proposals, and presentations
* Provide technical product advice and support
* Conduct site visits and product demonstrations
* Maintain accurate CRM records of sales activity
* Collaborate with internal technical and production teams
* Represent the business at industry events
About you
* Experience in sales or technical sales (mining/industrial preferred)
* Strong communication and relationship-building skills
* Ability to understand and explain technical products
* Self-motivated with a proactive approach
* Well organised with strong attention to detail
* Basic mechanical aptitude (advantageous)
* CRM and Microsoft Office experience
* Valid driver's licence and willingness to travel
