Job Description:
This exciting role offers an opportunity to develop and grow your skills in human resources, working closely with various teams to deliver key services that contribute to the development and wellbeing of Council staff.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver HR Services: Assist in delivering human resources, WHS, training & development, and administrative functions across Council.
* Support Staff Development: Provide support to staff with training and development needs, ensuring they have the necessary skills to excel in their roles.
* Admin Support: Prepare and distribute agendas, minutes, reports, and correspondence, maintaining accurate records and documentation.
* Continuous Improvement: Support continuous improvement initiatives and the implementation of new systems of work, driving efficiency and effectiveness within the organization.
In this role, you will also be responsible for maintaining and updating registers, records, and Council documentation, assisting with statutory reporting, policy development, and providing customer service tasks including overflow calls and front desk duties.
