We're looking for motivated and values‐driven individuals to join Team Sanitarium.
As a Casual Machine Operator, you'll be responsible for operating key manufacturing and packing machinery across multiple departments, including Up&Go, Tetra, and Cereals. You'll play an important role in producing high‐quality products that help change lives every day.
Reporting to the Senior Team Leader on shift, this role is ideal for casuals who are flexible across different shift patterns, keen to learn multiple departments, and enjoy working as part of a collaborative, safety‐focused team.
Shift Patterns:
Day Shift:
Monday – Thursday: 7:00am – 3:00pm
Friday: 6:00am – 12:00pm
Afternoon Shift
Monday – Thursday 3:00pm-11:00pm
Friday 10:00am-4:00pm
Availability: Night Shift
Sunday - Thursday Nights 11:00pm – 7:00am
Preferred candidates would be those who have high levels of availability during the above times.
Key responsibilities include:
* Monitor the production/packing process to ensure smooth machine operation.
* Move materials and restock resources (may require use of a forklift or manual handling).
* Record data as required and undertake product and quality testing.
* Clean and maintain hygiene in your operating area.
* Take part in continuous improvement activities.
The successful applicant will also have the following skills and experience:
* Forklift License or willingness to obtain is preferred.
* Ability to undertake manual handling of up to 25kg.
* Ability to follow instructions and procedures.
* Ability to cope with pressures and setbacks in a constructive manner.
* Ability to analyse information and make decisions accordingly.
* Strong commitment to Workplace Health and Safety.
