About the Role
We are seeking a talented Workforce Development Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our workforce development initiative, you will play a pivotal role in delivering a scholarship program that supports early childhood educators to complete qualifications and thrive in their roles.
The successful candidate will have experience in mentoring, coaching, and program coordination, ideally within the early childhood education sector. You will bring strong organizational skills, the ability to manage multiple priorities, and a passion for building relationships and fostering collaboration across diverse stakeholders.
In this role, you will administer scholarships, provide tailored support to participants, implement grants and marketing strategies, and host networking events to strengthen collaboration and professional growth. You will also build strong relationships with education and care services, employment providers, community organizations, and government stakeholders to co-design solutions and share best practice.
Key Responsibilities
* Administering and delivering scholarships for early childhood educators.
* Providing tailored support to participants to build confidence and capability.
* Implementing grants, marketing, progress monitoring, reporting, and stakeholder engagement.
* Hosting networking events and facilitating communities of practice to strengthen collaboration and professional growth.
* Building strong relationships with education and care services, employment providers, community organizations, and government stakeholders to co-design solutions and share best practice.
About You
We are looking for someone who is passionate about workforce development and supporting early childhood educators to succeed. You will have:
* Experience in mentoring, coaching, and program coordination, ideally within the early childhood education sector.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to support and inspire early childhood educators to deliver high-quality teaching and learning.
* Proven ability to manage program delivery, meet deadlines, monitor progress, report outcomes, and work collaboratively in a dynamic and evolving environment.
* Working knowledge with Office 365 suite including Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint to support program administration and communication.
