About this exciting leadership opportunity, you will oversee the day-to-day management of our early childhood centre, ensuring alignment with legislative requirements and organisational policies.
Main Responsibilities
* Provide guidance and mentorship to staff members.
* Foster high-quality educational programs delivered by our team of educators.
* Effectively manage staffing schedules and rosters.
* Safeguard the financial stability of the centre within budget guidelines.
* Maintain consistently high standards for centre presentation and work practices.
You will cultivate strong relationships with children, families, educators, local businesses and all stakeholders. You will also successfully attract, convert and retain families through effective tour management, enrolment procedures and orientation in conjunction with our Enrolments Team.
About Your Qualifications
* A Diploma in Children's Services or an Early Childhood Degree as approved by ACECQA is a prerequisite.
* Significant experience as a Centre Director in an early childhood setting is essential.
* Current blue card, first aid, CPR, anaphylaxis and asthma certifications are mandatory.
* An extensive understanding of the Victorian Early Years Learning Development Framework (VEYLDF), National Quality Standards (NQS) and Quality Improvement Plan (QIP) is required.
You should possess excellent verbal and written communication skills to lead and mentor a team of qualified and committed early childhood professionals. A willingness to undertake and coordinate ongoing professional development training for Educators is also necessary.
