About the Project Coordinator Role (HEO6)
The Project Coordinator will provide research support in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Public Health under the general direction of the Chief Investigators and the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Public Health Research Team. Key responsibilities include:
* Delivering project outcomes and milestones for the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Public Health Research Team.
* Managing calendars, event scheduling, meeting notes/action items, and venue/catering arrangements.
* Contributing to confidential and ethical data management for designated projects.
* Assisting with the preparation and submission of ethics applications (AHREC and SA Health sites).
* Establishing and maintaining collaborations within the University and at State, national and international levels to enhance research outputs, patents and publications.
About You
* Completion of a degree with relevant experience; or extensive experience and/or specialist expertise in public health; or an equivalent combination of experience and/or education and/or training in public health or a related field.
* Demonstrated ability to deliver project targets on time.
* Experience handling confidential information ethically, securely and professionally, including research results and communication with stakeholders.
* Experience working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities or other marginalised communities.
About the Research Associate Role (Level A)
The Research Associate will work with the Research Team to contribute to project design, implementation, data collection and analysis, and manuscript preparation. Roles include:
* Leading allocated projects by collaborating with the Project Research Team to deliver milestones and KPIs, coordinating, planning and executing project tasks.
* Planning and executing research, offering new ideas, reviewing literature, actively participating in data collection and analysis, attending seminars, meetings and conferences.
* Collaborating with industry partners, stakeholder engagement, participant recruitment and communication.
* Contributing to ethical, high‐quality and innovative research and evaluation, including scholarship, publication quality, external grant acquisition and presentations aligned with College research strengths.
* Assisting principal supervisors with supervision of postgraduate students.
About You
* Demonstrated experience in confidential and ethical data collection and analysis, and in contributing to project planning and coordination.
* Demonstrated ability to deliver project targets on time.
* Experience working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities or other marginalised communities.
* Ability to critically review literature in relevant fields.

Job Conditions
* A current Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check satisfactory to the University will be required before commencing.
* Maintenance of a current Working with Children Check satisfactory to the University in accordance with the Child Safety (Prohibited Persons) Act 2016 (SA) is required.
