Weekend Chef Role Summary

* Prepare healthy meals for students and staff.


The Weekend Chef works under the direction of a Food Services Manager. This role is responsible for leading kitchen staff, managing stock and supplies, and maintaining a clean kitchen environment.



Key Responsibilities:

* Prepare high-quality meals meeting dietary requirements.
* Lead and support kitchen staff to ensure efficient operations.
* Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment.
* Manage stock and order supplies efficiently.
* Contribute to a positive team culture.



Requirements:

* Commercial Cookery qualifications.
* Passion for producing healthy food with attention to nutrition and dietary needs.
* Knowledge of food safety regulations and safe work practices.
* Organisational skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* A current Food Safety Certificate or willingness to obtain.
