Northern Coalfields Community Care Association Limited (‘NCCCA’) is a community based not for profit organisation who is an approved provider for residential aged and community care under the Aged Care Act 1997 and accredited community transport operator with Transport for NSW. 
The Role 
We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Community Transport Driver to join our team on a part time basis (24 hours per week) - Monday, Thursday & Friday. 
You will be responsible for the safe door-to-door transport of older people, people with reduced mobility and transport disadvantaged to health and medical appointments, social outings, shopping centres and other places of interest. 
You’ll be assisting older people in and out of the vehicle, assisting with shopping bags, mobility equipment and engaging in friendly conversation and companionship. 
About you 
You have a genuine interest supporting older people within the community, you bring a high level of personal integrity, are positive, solutions-focused with a commitment to client care, the presentation of service vehicles and responsible driving ethics. 
To be successful in the role, you will have 
- Valid C Class Drivers Licence (and willingness to obtain an LR Licence) 
- NSW Bus Driver Authority (or willingness to obtain) 
- Ability to effectively use mobile devices and computer technology 
- Excellent time management, sound communication skills, organised and adaptable 
- Transparent driving record

- Current Police Check 
- Working With Children Check 
- Valid Current First Aid Certificate 
- Assistance obtaining an LR Licence and NSW Bus Driver Authority may be offered to the right candidate.
