This program offers a chance to gain hands-on experience at Australia's leading science agency.
It is an entry pathway for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples to explore careers in the minerals sector.
Hands-on experience will be gained in mineral and environmental labs, learning about preparing and testing rock, ore, soil, and water samples, supporting mineral processing and lab trials using scientific machines to measure and analyze materials, recording results and learning how research supports industry and Country.
The next step may lie within CSIRO or outside, but we will support you either way.
