The Director, Strategy and Support (Director S&S) provides strategic and operational advice to the Assistant Director-General, Supreme District and Land Courts Service (ADG SDLCS) and the courts and tribunals leadership team, is able to problem‐solve, identify and drive solutions, focused on consistency and continuous improvement in registry operations to improve the experience of court users, as well as in service standards and service delivery of court operations more broadly.
The Director S&S is also responsible for contributing to the implementation of government, departmental and CATS priorities. As part of the courts and tribunals leadership team, the Director S&S will lead, develop, and implement CATS strategic initiatives and contribute to organisational outcomes across the state. They will lead change and ensure the strategic alignment of their team with the overall CATS vision.
The position directs the administration of the Office of the ADG SDLCS ('the Directorate') providing oversight and coordination of activities undertaken both within the Directorate and more broadly across the SDLCS. The Directorate directly engages more than 280 staff in the Queen Elizabeth II Courts of Law and supports and directs all other staff who perform SDLCS work across Queensland supporting 74 Judges.
