About the role:
We are seeking passionate and empathetic Disability Support Workers to join our team. This is a casual role, offering flexibility and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of individuals with disabilities.
What you will be doing:
* Providing high quality, 1:1 person centred support to Participants with a range of disabilities.
* Assisting with daily living activities, such as personal care, meal preparation, and domestic tasks.
* Facilitating social and recreational activities to promote Participant wellbeing and community inclusion.
* Providing high intensity care for Participants with complex needs.
* Maintaining accurate records and documentation.
What we are looking for:
* A relevant qualification in Disability Support, Aged Care, or a related field is desired but not essential.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trusting relationships.
* Patience, empathy, and a genuine commitment to making a positive difference in people's lives.
* Reliable, flexible and tech‑savvy.
* Flexible to work across a 24‑hour roster, including early mornings, evenings, overnight shifts, weekdays, weekends, and public holidays.
Essential criteria:
* A current WA drivers license.
* A reliable car with registration, insurance and roadside assistance.
* NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain.)
* Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain.)
* National Police Clearance (obtained within the last 6 months.)
* Eligibility to work in Australia.
* A smartphone with internet access for work related applications.
