Royal Hobart Hospital is Tasmania’s largest hospital, and the Diabetes Centre within the RHH is the tertiary referral centre for people with diabetes requiring diabetes education in the Southern Tasmania region. The Role :
The clinical outpatient assistant is responsible for maintaining a clean and hygienic environment according to infection control standards in outpatient clinical and staff areas. They contribute to a patient-focused service by undertaking duties that support clinical staff, ensuring a safe and efficient environment.
You will need :
* Advanced communication skills (written and verbal) with internal and external stakeholders, patients, and families/carers.
* Participation in Work Health & Safety processes, including the development and implementation of safety systems, service improvement initiatives, and relevant training.
* Clerical duties as required, including hospital meter audits and supporting hospital accreditation processes.

Details of appointment :
This is a permanent, full-time day position, working 76 hours per fortnight, with start date as soon as possible. Hours are negotiable with the successful applicant.
Applicants should note that, for twelve months from the publication date, this selection process may be used to fill similar vacancies, including full-time, part-time, and casual roles.
Salary :
$62,486 to $65,119 per annum plus an Employer 11.5% superannuation contribution. Salary is in accordance with the Public Sector Unions Wages Agreement 2022.
