**The role in detail**:
- Stock rotations, putaways, replenishments 
- Manage and direct warehouse personnel that they work in a safe, efficient manner. 
- Continually be on the warehouse floor. 
- Induction of new staff and training of employees. 
- Handle stock queries and stock counts 
- Manage and plan short term and temporary employees 
- Maintain communication with the Operations Manager regarding KPI potential issues and recommend solutions as well as any OHS or staffing issues that may arise in the warehouse. 
- Opening and Closing of the office / warehouse daily 
- Manage local courier companies 
- Arrange service/maintenance for all machinery. 
- Ensure that team charge all electrical movers and batteries are checked and filled and all hand helds are accounted for and in proper working order each night. 
- Upkeep of building and yard and organize building maintenance as required 
- Oversee stock unloading and put away. 
- Allocate staff for container orders. 
- Confirm container stock received is per pack slip. 
- Wave orders 
- Assist with Pick and Pack orders 
- Arrange Courier pickups 
- Attend to customers at pick up area 
- Manifest all carriers 
- Ensure orders returned are credited efficiently and completed by month end. 
- Aim for all orders must be dispatched 24 hours from receipt of order into WMS. 
- Arrange work loads of machine operators. 
- Sign off time sheets for Staff recruitment agencies 
- Arrange and co-ordinate delivery of containers into warehouse. 
- Book stock into WMS.
**About you**:
- Forklift Order Picker (LO) ticket and experience is essential 
- Experience in a similar role preferably with fast paced high inventory movement. 
- Previous experience managing Warehouse staff including training and induction. 
- Demonstrate the ability to drive productivity improvements and have a strong safety compliance focus. 
- Be proficient and be able to train staff on all functions of WMS, and IFS systems.
