Occupational Therapist Role Summary
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate occupational therapist to lead our team in Rockingham, Western Australia. This role will be responsible for delivering community-based OT assessments and interventions, as well as providing paediatric early-intervention and capacity-building therapy.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver high-quality OT assessments and interventions in community settings
* Conduct functional capacity assessments and NDIS-aligned reporting
* Provide paediatric early-intervention and capacity-building therapy
* Collaborate with families, schools, support coordinators, and allied health peers
* Contribute to service development and uphold high clinical standards
* Mentor therapy assistants and future clinicians as the service grows
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* AHPRA registration as an occupational therapist
* At least 3 years of experience in paediatrics and NDIS settings
* Excellent clinical reasoning and clear, high-quality reporting skills
* Trauma-informed and family-centred approach
* Comfortable delivering therapy in community settings
* Motivated, supportive, and passionate about accessible disability services
* Ready to take on a leadership role in a growing service
