We are on the lookout for an experienced Plant Operators to operate machines including Loaders, excavators, haul trucks etc. Within the construction industry.
As a Plant Operator at our Cosgrove Quarry, you will ensure the safe and efficient operation of mobile plant equipment. Become an essential part of our team and help drive our operations forward.
Your day will involve:
* Safe operation of front-end loader and other quarry mobile plant as required (Haul Truck, Excavator and/or Dump Truck)
* Safe operation of both fixed and mobile crushing plant
* Learning to find mechanical faults and conducting basic maintenance and plant housekeeping
* Active participation in problem solving and continuous improvement activities
* Participation in safety initiatives including pre-starts, toolboxes and incident reporting
What are we looking for?
* Experience in mobile plant operation
* Quarry experience highly regarded, but not essential
* Mechanically minded individual with a ken interest in learning maintenance
* Self-motivated with a strong commitment to safety and quality
* Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a team with minimal supervision
* Availability to work Monday to Saturday
