Key responsibilities include:
* Developing and implementing person-centred plans that identify a customer's life goals and working to achieve them;
* Engaging in community activities with customers, promoting social interaction and camaraderie;
* Providing support with daily living skills such as meal preparation, housekeeping, showering and toileting, medication administration and attending appointments;
* Ensuring positive behaviour support plans are followed;
* Administrative duties and mandatory reporting.
Requirements include well-developed interpersonal skills with the ability to build effective working relationships, ability to follow Person Centred plans and assist people to achieve their goals and outcomes, an understanding and enthusiasm for working alongside people with disabilities, and a valid drivers licence.
