Overview
Based in our Newcastle NSW office, this diverse and rewarding role will see you working as part of a national, multidisciplinary team, delivering high-quality exercise physiology services to clients across personal injury and preventative health schemes.
What You Will Do
* Support clients to restore their physical and mental wellbeing, achieve functional goals, and return to work or life following injury or illness
* Complete comprehensive assessments and deliver personalised, evidence-based exercise programs across a range of settings including gyms, pools, homes, workplaces, and community environments
* Apply sound clinical reasoning to develop, implement, and monitor client-centred plans, tailored to their unique goals
* Deliver services in line with the Clinical Framework for the Delivery of Health Services, with a strong focus on evidence-based care and client outcomes
* Identify and address physical, psychological, social, and environmental barriers to recovery, providing holistic strategies to support return to function and meaningful engagement in life
* Collaborate with other health professionals, insurers, employers, and support networks to ensure cohesive and effective service delivery
What You Need To Join Us
* Current membership with ESSA as an Accredited Exercise Physiologist
* Current driver's licence and reliable vehicle
* A strong sense of initiative, excellent communication skills, and a passion for helping others
* A collaborative mindset and willingness to learn
* New graduates welcome - we offer structured onboarding, regular supervision, and professional development pathways
* SIRA Allied Health Practitioner number (an advantage, but not essential)
