SIL Operations Support Officer (Part-Time) — Wollongong

Salary: $35.67/hour + super + leave entitlements
Sydney Health & Care Services (SHCS) is growing in Wollongong, and we're looking for a proactive SIL Operations Support Officer to keep our front office humming, data accurate, and communications clear. You'll be the friendly first point of contact and a reliable backbone for our managers and coordinators.
Your Hours
This is a part-time position with requirement to be available 5 days a week
Monday to Friday - 9.30am to 3.30pm
What You'll Do
* Provide day-to-day administrative support to the SIL team
* Assist with incoming calls, emails and general enquiries, including redirecting matters where required
* Review and process operational paperwork, forms and records
* Assist with timesheet administration, including checking for missing information, allowances, discrepancies and following up with relevant staff or leaders
* Maintain trackers, registers and internal records relevant to SIL operations
* Support incident, behaviour, medication and compliance administration, including filing, follow-up and record collation
* Assist with onboarding and administration tasks for new workers within the SIL stream
* Prepare, organise and update house and participant-related documents as directed
* Escalate concerns, discrepancies, wellbeing matters or operational issues to the appropriate Team Leader, Senior Team Leader, House Coordinator or Manager
* Provide general office and operational support to help maintain consistent service delivery across the SIL program
About You
* Previous admin experience in a busy, service-oriented environment.
* Confident with Microsoft Office and quick to learn systems (ShiftCare, BambooHR, SharePoint a plus).
* Strong communication skills — clear, professional, and friendly.
* Organised, reliable, and attentive to detail.
* Respectful of confidentiality and compliance requirements.
* Australian citizenship or permanent residency with unrestricted work rights
* Ability to obtain National Police Check, NDISWC, and Working with Children Check
Nice to have:
* Experience in community, disability, health or allied health settings.
* Familiarity with SCHADS and NDIS context.
