Your RoleAs a Senior Product Designer in our Retail Insurance Australia Digital team, you'll lead complex initiatives across features and products, using evidence-based design to create experiences that are simple, human and effective. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to shape roadmaps, align on outcomes, and deliver high-quality, user-centred design that's consistent and clear across journeys.You'll play a key role in building maturity in our craft, mentoring others, and contributing to the growth of our design practice. Whether you're driving interaction design, applying our Chroma design system, or ensuring brand and accessibility standards are met, you'll help set the bar for great design at IAG.You will be working in our retail claims space, crafting experiences at the most critical touch point for our customers, empathising with their situations and creating seamless experiences. This is a 24-month Max Term position with flexibility to be based in Gadigal Country (Darling Park 2, Sydney), Naarm (Melbourne) or Meanjin (Brisbane)About YouDeep experience designing across the full product lifecycle using industry-standard toolsA strong foundation in digital design principles including hierarchy, grids, responsive design, Gestalt, colour and typographyConfidence delivering high-quality UI and interaction design that meets accessibility standardsThe ability to manage and supply development-ready design assetsExperience applying brand guidelines and design systems at scaleA clear, thoughtful approach to collaboration, critique and mentoringA relevant design or business-related degree (or equivalent experience)Planning and running user research and usability testing sessionsMapping out user journeys across digital, and occasionally non-digital, touchpointsCreating experiences that meet customer expectations, factoring in business goals and technical feasibilityCollaborating with other designers in the team and actively seeking and providing feedback on designsApplications close Friday 20th June 2025 at 23:59pm AEST.
