Senior Accountant - Paramatta
A growing accounting and advisory firm in Paramatta is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant for a full-time, office-based role.
This is a hands-on position with broad exposure to financial reporting, compliance, tax planning, payroll, and bookkeeping. You will also provide strategic advice to clients and play a key role in maintaining strong client relationships. There is opportunity to manage and mentor staff, including offshore resources.
Key Responsibilities
* Prepare financial statements and manage compliance reporting
* Oversee tax planning, preparation, and advisory services
* Perform payroll, bookkeeping, and financial analysis
* Provide strategic advice to small business and individual clients
* Build and maintain strong client relationships
* Manage and mentor staff and offshore team members
About You
* Minimum 5 years' experience in a senior accounting role
* Strong technical accounting and tax skills, including financial reporting and compliance
* Experience with payroll, bookkeeping, and accounting software
* Proven client relationship management and communication skills
* Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA preferred
* Familiarity with small business financial operations and client-focused advisory
* Previous experience managing staff and offshore resources advantageous
