The Role
We’re seeking a Stores/Dispatching Officer to manage materials handling (in-coming and outgoing), stores inventory, booking transport, yard organisation, dispatching products within our busy Fabrication Division. This is a full-time, hands-on role suited to someone proactive, organised, and physically capable.
Key Responsibilities:
* Receive and inspect deliveries; organise incoming materials.
* Manage inventory accuracy and perform regular stocktakes.
* Prepare and package outgoing orders for delivery, pickup and booking freight.
* Operate forklifts and assist with physical movement of goods (indoor/outdoor).
* Maintain a clean, organised yard and warehouse area.
* Work closely with Fabrication teams to coordinate workflow.
* Support general workshop tasks as needed.
What You’ll Need to Succeed
* Proven experience in stores / warehousing / dispatch and yard coordination
* High-Risk Forklift Licence (LF) – essential.
* Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
* Basic to intermediate computer skills (stock/inventory systems).
* High attention to detail and a safety-first mindset.
* Physically fit and comfortable working in a hands-on environment.
