Our Hygiene team is growing, and we're looking for reliable Process Operators who take pride in doing things properly. As leaders in salmon farming, we know that world-class product starts with world-class hygiene. You'll play a critical role in keeping our processing environment safe, compliant, and audit-ready.
What you'll be doing
* Clean and sanitise processing equipment and machinery in line with daily hygiene schedules and food safety standards
* Safely operate a forklift to move cleaning equipment, waste bins and hygiene supplies
* Prepare and use cleaning chemicals correctly, following safety data sheets and dilution guidelines
* Maintain cleanliness across production areas including floors, drains, walls and ceilings
* Dismantle, clean and reassemble equipment for deep cleans, ensuring everything is hygienic and operational
* Complete hygiene checklists and records to support HACCP and GMP compliance
* Proactively report hygiene risks, equipment issues or chemical spills to the Hygiene Team Leader
What we're looking for
* Current Australian forklift licence (essential)
* Physically fit and able to safely lift up to 15kg
* Comfortable working in a processing or industrial environment
* Strong understanding of safety, hygiene and following procedures
* Reliable, team-focused and able to work afternoon shifts
