We are seeking enthusiastic and reliable Production / Assembly Team Members to join our Wodonga-based manufacturing client. Starting as a casual, you will be working full time hours from Monday through Friday. Shifts are available across days, afternoons and nights, which will be discussed during the interview process.
Positions vary from operating machinery and equipment, to assembling components as well as general labouring duties.
The successful candidates don't necessarily need experience in a manufacturing environment, however a keen eye for detail, being able to work in a team environment and having a positive "can do" attitude is essential.
What you'll be doing
* Operating machinery and equipment to assemble products to specification
* Manually assembling components / products
* Perform quality checks at various stages of the production process
* Maintain a clean and organised work area
* Collaborate with team members to meet production targets
* Adhere to all health, safety and environmental policies and procedures
What we're looking for
* Previous experience in a production or assembly role will be highly regarded, but NOT essential
* Ability to read and interpret basic drawings and work instructions
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
* Ability to work well in a team
* Being able to stand for long periods of time and lift over 10kgs
