You will work in Clarence Correctional Centre, Australia's largest correctional facility, helping inmates prepare for reintegration into society.In this role, you will:Supervise and manage inmates while promoting rehabilitation and reintegrationConduct searches, monitor inmate activities, and maintain a structured, secure environmentUse communication and problem-solving skills to defuse tense situations and maintain orderWork closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure inmate welfareSerco is a place for youTo be successful in this role, you'll have:A willingness to obtain Certificate III in Correctional Practice (training provided)Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with inmates and staffResilience, empathy, and the ability to remain calm under pressureProblem-solving skills and sound judgment in high-pressure situationsPhysical fitness to meet the demands of the roleA valid Driver's Licence You do not need to match every listed expectation to apply for this position.
