**Job Title:** Warehouse Officer
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Warehouse Officer to join our busy Maintenance department at QCoal.
As a key member of our team, you will work collaboratively towards delivering high-quality solutions and results in a dynamic environment.
**Key Responsibilities:**
* Oversee the receipt, storage, and distribution of parts, tools, and materials used in mining operations.
* Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, transactions, and stock movements.
* Ensure that all materials are properly stored, labelled, and accessible for easy retrieval.
* Assist in managing stock levels and ordering of supplies as required.
* Perform regular stocktakes and reconcile discrepancies in inventory.
* Support maintenance teams by ensuring the availability of necessary parts and tools.
* Monitor and ensure compliance with safety protocols and workplace procedures.
* Coordinate deliveries and ensure timely supply of materials to operational teams.
* Liaise with suppliers and vendors to manage ordering and returns of goods.
* Provide assistance with the management of hazardous materials and ensure compliance with environmental and safety standards.
**Requirements:**
* Previous experience as a Warehouse Officer or Store Person or in a similar role within the mining or industrial sector.
* Strong understanding of inventory management and stock control processes.
* Familiarity with mining equipment and materials.
* Ability to operate forklifts and other material handling equipment (Forklift license required).
* Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
* Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
* Knowledge of safety procedures in a mining or industrial environment.
* Proficiency in using inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
* A team player with good communication and interpersonal skills.
* Standard 11.
