As a Business Development Representative, you will be equipped with the tools and training to drive sales pipelines and contribute to the growth of our market share in the ANZ region. This role offers a unique opportunity to learn best practices around consultative SaaS selling and develop creative and targeted prospecting strategies.
In this position, you will work closely with an assigned Account Executive/Sales Representative to develop and implement effective prospect strategies and plans. You will also collaborate with the sales management and marketing teams to ensure proper quality and quantity of discovery calls. Additionally, you will conduct needs assessments calls with specific prospects as assigned and schedule discovery calls for your account executive/sales representative.
We are looking for hard-working, competitive, and self-motivated individuals who have already excelled in similar sales roles and want to build upon their experience in the tech space. A structured pathway is in place for BDRs to progress into the Account Executive team. Key responsibilities include conducting high-volume prospecting to generate qualified leads, working collaboratively with account executives/sales representatives, and scheduling discovery calls. The ideal candidate should have a track record of high achievement, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to deal with objections and rejection on a daily basis. They should also have a proven ability to drive results, be resilient during challenging sales situations, and have a customer-first mentality and a strong growth mindset.
Sales Success
To excel in this role, you should have a strong interest in a long-term career in sales, a genuine curiosity about business and technology, and a growth mindset. A habit of seeking feedback for self-development and the confidence to prospect and speak to C-level executives are essential. High performance in previous roles and areas outside of professional work (e.g., hobbies, sports, creative pursuits) will also be considered.
