This opportunity is to commence ASAP and we are offering a 6 month fixed term contract with a possible extension.
With previous Credit experience and a true desire to perform the credit function, you will join this team with responsibility for your own ledger. Reporting through to the Team Leader your duties will include:
- Collection of customer overdue accounts according to agreed terms
- Ensure collection action is consistent with various terms
- Credit notes
- Manage stop supply and release of orders
- Negotiation of payment plans
- Accurately allocate payments and reconcile as required
- Liaise with branch personnel and Group Head Office Managers as needed
- Refer accounts requiring further collection or legal action
- Work to achieve specific KPIs and targets as set by the Team Leader
- Prepare weekly and monthly reports on ledger status
- Other duties as directed time to time by Team Leader
To be successful in this position, you will have proven experience in a similar Credit role, have strong communication skills, the ability to build rapport with people, excellent negotiation skills and a great customer service attitude.
