The Position
* Wednesday to Sunday shifts for the successful new hire
* Assist and oversee food production and menu-based catering for 102 residents in this modern aged care facility.
* Ensuring all OHS compliance is achieved, adhere to safe work practices and safe food handling procedures
* Ensure all catering controls are in place and wastage is kept to the minimum
* Assist with rostering, ordering, stock control and other administrative duties related to a senior chef posit
The Person
* Minimum Cert III in Commercial Cookery
* Experience with cooking healthy and nutritious food in bulk quantities
* Experience in HACCP, food safety and infection control
* Aged care experience preferred /good understanding of IDDSI and the preparation of texture modified meals
* NPC: Able to obtain a National Police Check
