The Role
We are looking for a highly motivated Civil Engineer to join our team in the Sydney office with 4 Years of experience in Civil Public Domain and Stormwater Design. You will be a key player in designing and implementing diverse civil engineering projects, with a heavy focus on Civil Public Domain design and Stormwater Management.
This is a hands‐on role where you will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, manage designs from development through to completion, and solve complex engineering challenges with innovative, sustainable thinking.
Key Responsibilities
* Design & Development: Lead the design process for civil engineering projects, including detailed public domain and stormwater management systems.
* Technical Excellence: Use industry‐standard software to produce high‐quality engineering designs and documentation.
* Collaboration: Act as a central point of contact for multidisciplinary teams and clients, ensuring project goals are aligned and met.
* Compliance: Ensure all designs adhere to the National Construction Code (NCC) as well as local and state engineering regulations.
* Project Oversight: Manage the lifecycle of a design, ensuring it is practical, cost‐effective, and delivered to the highest standard.
What You Bring
* Education: A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
* Technical Mastery: Proven expertise in Stormwater Management and Public Domain Design.
* Software Proficiency: Power‐user skills in Civil 3D, Civil Site Design, and AutoCAD.
* Regulatory Knowledge: A deep understanding of the NCC and the specific engineering regulations governing NSW local and state authorities.
* Communication: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear solutions for clients and colleagues.
* Mindset: A proactive, "value‐add" approach to engineering that seeks out innovative ways to overcome project hurdles.
